VPK

Preparing for Launch

Our VPK program proudly features the Zoo Phonics Curriculum, designed to make learning fun and engaging for young children. This dynamic approach uses playful, interactive literacy activities to help prepare preschoolers for kindergarten. In addition to fostering early reading skills, our program incorporates a Bible curriculum, enriching children’s spiritual development. Our well-rounded curriculum also includes math, science, and plenty of outside playtime to stimulate both mind and body. Additionally, we gather for chapel, where we sing, pray, and grow together in a nurturing community. We’re dedicated to providing a comprehensive, joyful learning experience for every child.

Frequently Asked Questions

At Family Christian Center Preschool, we utilize a comprehensive approach to early childhood education by incorporating several well-rounded curricula. For all students, we use a Bible curriculum to instill foundational Christian values and teachings. Additionally, our Essentials Curriculum for Preschoolers ensures that children receive a balanced education in key developmental areas such as social skills, cognitive development, and physical growth. For our Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program, we employ Zoo-Phonics, an engaging and effective phonics curriculum designed to enhance early literacy skills through fun and interactive animal-themed activities. This combination of curricula allows us to provide a nurturing, faith-based environment that supports the holistic development of each child.
