3-year-olds

Supporting Independence

At our preschool, the 3-year-old classroom is designed to nurture young minds through a developmentally appropriate curriculum that balances fun and learning. Our daily activities include outdoor play to foster physical development and social skills, as well as early reading exercises that introduce basic phonics and vocabulary. Early math skills are explored through engaging, hands-on activities that teach counting, shapes, and simple patterns. Bible lessons are woven into the curriculum, offering gentle and age-appropriate stories that instill values of kindness and respect. Additionally, our budding scientists engage in simple, interactive experiments to spark curiosity and wonder about the world around them. Each component of our curriculum is crafted to support the holistic growth of your child in a loving and nurturing environment.

At Family Christian Center Preschool, we utilize a comprehensive approach to early childhood education by incorporating several well-rounded curricula. For all students, we use a Bible curriculum to instill foundational Christian values and teachings. Additionally, our Essentials Curriculum for Preschoolers ensures that children receive a balanced education in key developmental areas such as social skills, cognitive development, and physical growth. For our Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program, we employ Zoo-Phonics, an engaging and effective phonics curriculum designed to enhance early literacy skills through fun and interactive animal-themed activities. This combination of curricula allows us to provide a nurturing, faith-based environment that supports the holistic development of each child.
