Ms Nidia was born in Cali Colombia and moved to the US in August of 2005. She is married to husband Jeremiah who is also one of our bible teachers here at Family Christian Center School. She is the mother of two, Luisa and Felipe and step mom to Isabella and Gaylah.
During her spare time Ms Nidia loves to read her bible, spend time with her family, go for walks and go shopping.
Before moving to the US Ms Nidia worked for an import company in Cali Colombia for thirteen years. Prior to joining our team here at FCCPS she worked at Target for a while but decided that her true calling was early childhood, so she is now teaching our class in the one year old room.
One of her favorite things to do with this age group is to share her love of art and music with them. She loves to see their reaction and excitement as they discover new colors, textures and sounds.
Her goal this year is to provide a safe and structured learning environment in which each child can develop a strong foundation from which to build on in the formative years of early preschool.
